April 25th

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
Eleanor Roosevelt - First lady
Yesterday was certainly a ‘down’ day for me but that was yesterday.
I am going to stay here and do this as much and as often as I can,
even if it might mean a few hospital pictures on here at some point!!!
********
A dream that I have always had is to be an artist.
I would dearly like to be able to pick up a paint brush and paint a masterpiece.
When I was young I always loved the paint by numbers kits
and always asked for one at Christmas.
Today the nearest I come to those kits is the ‘Paintables’ water colour paper,
where you can use your paints on already printed background
and use it for a scrapbook lay out.
I also use my camera to produce pictures that I love to look at and share.
********
Dreams are like the paints of a great artist.
Your dreams are your paints;
the world is your canvas.
Believing is the brush
that converts your dreams into a masterpiece of reality.”

It is great to hear that you are going to stick at this Shirley. You are very artistic already. My FIL who is a great artist says anyone can draw or paint - you just have to try. Not sure I agree with him as I am hopeless at drawing!!!

That is good that you feel more positive today. Love the way you find these extra quotes which just fit the chosen quote perfectly.

Thanks for your comment on my blog too. and I am glad if my comment helped you to move forward.
Being artistic dos nt mean that you have to be able to paint or draw. You can be artistic by putting collages together, try altered art. I used to teach scrapbooking and most of the people I taught origanally thought that they were not artistic., They now all think that they are. they just had to find what they were good at. Some were great at co ordinating colours. Some were great at balance. Some developed doodling to an art form. Keep playing and you will find yours.
Ypur photographs are stunning

rattytatty said exactly what I was going to say too! My mum is an amazing artist but doesn't paint much anymore. I on the other hand could not, but I found lots of different ways of being really really creative. I have to say your photos are like works of art and painting backgrounds shows your creative flair. I really like how you can capture images just at the right moment, it is real talent.

Shirley, I can't believe you are working on exactly the same pantable page as I am! Colouring in counts as art - it is the interpretation we make!

I am also struggling with my 365 project due to health atm, so I greatly admire your determination.
