“Open your heart - open it wide; someone is standing outside.”

My best friend in the whole world came home
from his travels yesterday.
from his travels yesterday.
No way was I going to leave him standing outside!

Friendship is a priceless gift,
That cannot be bought or sold.
But its value is far greater than,
A mountain made of gold.
For gold is cold and lifeless,
It cannot see nor hear.
And in times of trouble,
It's powerless to cheer.
It has no ears to listen,
Nor a heart to understand.
It cannot give you comfort,
Or lend a helping hand.
So when you ask God for a gift
Be happy if he sends
Not diamonds pearls or riches
But the love of a true GREAT FRIEND!!

Oh this is lovely Shirley, I'm so glad Colin is home and with you ready for the hospital next week. He is your rock, you were very brave to let him go when you were so poorly. You are a wonderful person.
