Little did I realise when I signed off from my blog that it would take me 2 months to start posting again!
The past 2 months have certainly presented me with many challenges so my 365 challenge took a back seat I am afraid.
Below are some of the photos that I have taken over those 2 months, I did not follow Anna’s prompts for these but I did try to take at least one photo a day. Thankfully my operation was a success. However I am still in the recovery process which, if I am honest, is taking much longer than I thought it would. My neurosurgeon has told me that it is going to need 6 months to recover and even then I am going to have to be very careful with lifting and bending.
Also during these past 2 months Colin has had surgery too, this was for an ENT problem and I am pleased to say that surgery has been successful. However, during the course of routine blood tests it has been discovered that he has atypical Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. At the moment we are waiting on the results of further tests, which are due on 13th August. These will establish just what course of treatment maybe necessary if any. As you can imagine the family were shocked and concerned about this diagnosis but having spoken at length to the consultant we are hopeful that only minimal treatment will be required.
From the 1st of August I will be using Anna’s prompts again and also be updating my blog regularly.
